Matt Michalski grew up in Saint Paul, MN and attended Nativity of Our Lord Grade School and Cretin High School. After a brief stint at the University of Minnesota, he transferred and graduated from Brown Institute with an Associate Degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting in January of 1991. He has been employed by Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc. since 1990. Known professionally on the air as “The Rookie” for over the last two decades, he has worked with Governor Jesse Ventura, 1500 ESPN sports broadcaster Patrick Reusse, and syndicated radio host, Joe Soucheray on Garage Logic. Matt’s community involvement on several different boards involves Cretin High School, Cradle of Hope, and Second Stork. Matt and his wife, Michele, have four children and live in South St. Paul. Matt has been instrumental in many key PR and grant opportunities for Second Stork, and Matt and his family are also regular volunteers at Second Stork’s warehouse.
