Laurie Boland has over thirty years of experience in project management, administration, and student affairs. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Marquette University and a Masters Degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California with an emphasis in project management, she has worked in a range of settings from some of the nation’s leading universities to a Fortune 500 company, to local business support.
As a mother of four and grandmother of five, Laurie has always had a passion for helping new mothers get their start and has volunteer experience with several family-oriented nonprofit organizations ranging from those serving military families to school associations. She now volunteers as one of Second Stork’s Collection Drive Coordinators.
She and her husband, Jim, are Saint Paul natives and avid Twins fans. When they’re not watching the games or volunteering, they like to travel, which usually includes visiting their children and grandchildren who currently live all over the world.
